This Mod will give you the choice between 2 Unique weapons/items instead of a single one, so it will double the chance to get a weapon/item with desired element/parts/accessory.The Tidal Wave, which apparently is not a weapon reward anywhere anymore is now becoming a reward for the mission Slap Happy in The Highlands - Outwash) (If you use the UCP patch 4.1, the Octo is now a possible drop by Old Slappy) Double Quests Rewards but in any case the Tidal Wave, like in the original game, who was ironically a Unique Jakobs weapon! Now, Una will offer the Lady Fist, which is a Hyperion pistol, while Hyperion will offer The Bitch (or The Commerce if you choose this option) which are both Hyperion SMG. Baha's wife in Borderlands 1) as reward instead of any Blue Hyperion pistol. Baha (the Lady Fist, as red text refers, in reference to the Lady Finger, a gun retrieved from the grave of T.K. Great - that was just what I was hopin' to hear! Now, if you can find the blueprints for the weapon design they ripped off, I'll give you the first gun my uncle ever gave me.īy saying I'll give you the first gun my uncle ever gave me, it make sense to me that she will give her personal weapon given by T.K. ![]() The case of the removal from the Lady Fist really upset me, because during the mission Uncle Teddy, just after finding the 6th echo, Una Baha say: All in all, it's worth playing up to the last quest, then just walking back to the main game. The main reason why I resurrected (and rebuild from scratch) the "Double Quest Reward" Mod is mainly because in the great Koby's original Mod -unfortunately now extinct!-, some Unique weapon/items (Lady Fist, Rocksalt, Dahlminator, Buffalo, Landscaper, Sandhawk, Pimpernel, etc.) where removed from the rewards, and that doesn't make sense to me. I don't mean to dwell on this issue, but it really is the first thing I think about when this DLC comes to mind. You must also fight it in an open ring with no cover, so don't plan to fight tactically. Be prepared to die multiple times against a boss who only defeats you because it has massive damage reduction and reflection, and a mountain of hit points. The big problem that this DLC has is that it features the absolute worst final boss in the Borderlands franchise. Anyone who complains about the arena fights being too simple probably shouldn't have purchased a DLC that centers around arena fights. The DLC switches off arena fights and story missions. This is one of the funniest DLC's I've ever played, and Mister Torgue is probably the best new character in the franchise since General Knoxx. Essentially a do-over of the original Borderlands' (much maligned) 2nd DLC, it's a series of arena fights with story quests between them and some side-quests thrown in for good measure. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.Īn overall amusing DLC, the final boss casts a pall over the rest of it. ![]()
